Hi all
here i will describe the method i used to install enigma2 hot summer v2, and bring TP-Link wireless dongle to work on engima2

Please note that this is a risky operation, do it on your own responsibility
Please note that this tutorial will only help you installing Enigma2 on a USB stick and boot from it. if you want to permanently upload enigma2 to your receiver built-in flash, then this tutorial is not for you.

i will do my best to make things as simple as possible.

let's start:
this tutorial assumes you already have a PowerSat PO1000HDPVR reciever along with TP-Link TL-WN321G
and a wireless router with DHCP.
if you need help regarding set your wireless router as DHCP server, please google for that.


tools you need to get started
hardware:
Serial Cable (price around 2 JDs)

software:

open a new browser tab

once logged in successfully open this url

[/B][B]click the diskette icon next to " AAF Atevio Tools/Anleitungen"


click on the button "AAF_Recovery_Tool_V4.1_av700"[/B]
to download it, do the same for
"Maxiboot_Installer_Setup_V07"

once finished downloading, you'll find two .rar files
extract them
inside
[B]AAF_Recovery_Tool_V4.1_av700 folder
you'll find ART_final_en.rar
extract that too
it will give you 3 PDF files
open
AAF_ART3x_P1_en.pdf

follow the steps there BUT:
for powersat PO1000HDPVR
when you reach page 16
Maxi U-boot install

you'll have to check the checkbox next to "Load from USB Device"
Also don't forget to click on "Reseller-id" tab and set it to Powersat 1000

when successfully completed
and you reach page 22 in the pdf manual
click on Continue with E2 USB Installation

Please note, use ext2 not ext3 as filesystem type for new partitions

now when you reach Page 31
and maxiboot installer asks you for E2 image,
please use this modified image

now reboot your reciever to it's original software.
for me i have installed enigma2 on /dev/sda3 partition, if you installed it to other partition please modify commands below, instead of sda2 use your partition, instead of MINI2 use your mount point
example: sda2 -> MINI2
sda3 -> MINI3

using putty telnet to the reciever
login with username: root

mount the usb stick with:
mount -t ext2 /dev/sda2 /var/mnt/MINI2

you have to edit one file, that will let your router joins your wireless network
edit it with this command

vi /var/mnt/MINI2/etc/wpa_supplicant.conf

press i to enter edit mode on vi
press esc to enter command mode on vi
in insert mode use arrows and delete button on your keyboard to edit files
then after finishing your changes go to command mode and type
:wq!
to write changes and quit vi


what you should modify is:
ssid="nuaimat"
set it to your ssid name

and
psk=cf9dfb6e499fc5607cb63a7c24e90e47e67458dd73ba267fe20f8beda90cb21c
set it to your PSK that you can generate from [url]http://www.wireshark.org/tools/wpa-psk.html[/url]

if you want to know what you should modify
please seach google for '/etc/wpa_supplicant.conf'



you're now ready to test it
reboot your receiver from the power button on the back
and quickly press up/down on the remote till you see USB 3 (because i installed it on sda3 it may be different in your case)
press ok

it may need two minutes to finish loading.
now go to
menu>AAF-Panel>Infos>Network

you should see rausb0 interface there, with an ip address
if it's not there
try pull your wireless stick from usb port and put it there again while enigma2 is running, wait for a minute then check network infos again

ok inside /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf
you should change two things

the ssid and psk
ssid is your wireless network name
the name that you see when you search for wireless networks using your laptop or your ******************************.

and psk is an encrypted combination between ssid and passphrase, you can generate PSK value using this url

1) Open a terminal window and type:

Note: your_ssid is the name of your wireless network (a.k.a. SSID) and your_psk is the password you want to use to protect your network. (Look below for an example).

2) Now copy the psk string you got as output.

3) Type:

Then paste this as follow:

Note: your_psk is the psk string you got from step 1.

The red string is what you have to paste into /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf as your_psk (without quotes obviously). So you'll have something like this:

4) Save the file and close Gedit.

5) Now we have to make wpa_supplicant load when system boots, so go back to the terminal window and type:

6) Add the following lines in the part regarding your wireless card, as in the example below:

pre-up wpa_supplicant -Bw -Dwext -ieth0 -c/etc/wpa_supplicant.confpost-down killall -q wpa_supplicant
Note: "eth0" is your wireless device and "wext" is the driver; this is a kind of generic driver, so it should work with most wireless cards. If it doesn't, please try another driver, such as hostap, ndiswrapper, etc.
Here is an example:

7) Now run wpa_supplicant:

You should be online!



[B]Troubleshooting:[/B]

You can run wpa_supplicant with -dd flag for a detailed debug output.

1) If you don't manage to connect to the AccessPoint, try to uncomment line 2 in /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf.
2) If that doesn't help, try change its value to 0 or 1.
3) If you get troubles while authenticating, try removing "RSN" and/or "CCMP" strings from /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf.[/LEFT]

والمقصود هو توضيح الفكره وليس الطريقه
اذا ما عندك مانع توضح الطريقه بتشغيل الويرليس بدون تنزيل الانقيما
يعني كثير من الاعضاء اصبحت موجوده عندهم
ولكن لازال العائق موجود فيها وهي المشاكل التي تكلمنا عنها سابقا
منها مشكلة الايثرنت الي انته تكفلت بطرحها
انته تكلمت بشرحك عن تنزيل الانقيما وتشغيل الوير ليس
يا ريت انك تفصل الموضوع الي هو الشبك على الويرليس بموضوع لوحده
ونتباحث فيه يكون افضل
لانو يحتاج تأني وتفكير
يد واحده لا تصفق

مع انه طريقه تحميل دعم الويرليس علي نسخه انجما ٢ منزله اصلا هي عمليه معقده جدا وفيها العديد من الخطوات
انا اصلا حاولت اسهل عليكم بان اعمل نسخه انجما ٢ تحتوي التعريف جاهزه للرفع عالجهاز

ولكن اوكي صديقي انته والموجودين بتؤمرو امر رح تكون الطريقه موجوده عن قريب انشالله

تصفح الانترنت واليوتيوب ليس بعد لا يوجد plugins متخصصه بهذا الموضوع تشتغل على معالج SH4 لحد الان ولكن قد تنزل في اي يوم قريبا.

تستطيع اضافه بلج انز ؟ نعم بالتاكيد ولكن البلج انز المحوله الى معالج SH4 هي قائمه ليست طويله جدا. لا زال دعم ال SH4 في بدايه مراحله.

بالنسبه للموقع الالماني تستطيع استخدام القوقل للترجمه الى اللغه الانجليزيه
انا هيك اعمل
افتح القوقل واختار من اعلى الصفحه ترجمه
واختار اللغه من الماني الى انجليزي

في جوجل ليست 100/100 الترجمة

اما بالنسبه للويرليس فهو اكيد بيشبك
الويرد مش مدعوم لحد اليوم.

انا بالنسبة الي بيوقف عند الماكسي بوت انستول في الصفحة 16 بيكتب اب لوود وما بيكمل

Hi Nuaimat,

I tried to install max boot without any luck, I tell you what I did and you may figure what I did wrong.
I connected my laptop to receiver through USB2COM with null cabel as an extension, receiver is off, I put my laptop IP, gateway, rceiver IP and subnet mask, all IPs are fixed on my devices, applied all steps mentioned in the PDF file (read MAC, write to Atevio and so...) coneection is active but the right column didn't get any gateway or subnet mask.

On install Maxboot I pressed the button and waited but nothing happened. waited long timw and did it several times but with no luck.

tried to connect Wireless and wired for LAN but nothing changed.

Please help

اخ عبدالله يجب عليك وضع ملف uflasherHDbox.app في الفلاشه ووضعها في مدخل اليو اس بي

Also don't forget to click on "Reseller-id" tab and set it to Powersat 1000
