how to share files from a server to your decoder

create a network share on your computer and give it a name with less than 11 characters and without any spaces.
note the ip address of the server and type it into your decoder in the server box in the following format:


[URL="**********:void(0);"][/URL]
192.168.0.1/movies
ip.address.of.server/share.name
the above would what you would put if your share is called movies on your computer and your server (computer) is located at 192.168.0.1 for an example.
click connect and the boxes will grey out and will show you the amount of free space etc on the server and other details.

If you then go to the play list and press the arrow button and select network and you can browse your computer or network attaches storage for files to/for play back/veiwing on your decoder.

You can even record or time shift to your network share if you change the settings in the record menu.

i create a folder and share it
thin i put the ip address and the folder name
and nothing happened just the menu flashing and nothing going on maaan
am using windows 7

ok man mount ur folder in pc,use cmd
[CODE]net use m: \\pc.ip.address\sharename[/CODE]

u must see successfuly message

[CENTER]إنشاء مشاركة شبكة الاتصال على جهاز الكمبيوتر الخاص بك وتعطيه اسما مع أقل من 11 حرفا ، وبدون أية مسافات.
لاحظ عنوان بروتوكول الإنترنت من خادم واكتبه في فك الترميز الخاصة بك في المربع ملقم على الشكل التالي :



192.168.0.1/movies
ip.address.of.server / share.name
وسيكون فوق ما كنت وضعت في حالة حصتك يسمى الأفلام على جهاز الكمبيوتر الخاص بك وخادم (الكمبيوتر) ويقع في 192.168.0.1 للحصول على مثال.
وسيربط فوق مربعات رمادية بها وسوف تظهر لك كمية الخ المساحة الحرة على الخادم وغيرها من التفاصيل.

اذا ذهبت بعد ذلك الى قائمة اللعب والضغط على زر السهم وتحديد شبكة ويمكنك تصفح الكمبيوتر أو شبكة الاتصال وتعلق لتخزين الملفات على / للعب مرة أخرى / veiwing على فك الترميز الخاص.

يمكنك تغيير السجل أو حتى الوقت لمشاركة شبكة الاتصال الخاصة بك إذا قمت بتغيير الإعدادات في القائمة تسجيل[/CENTER]
